Active Heave Compensated Winches

Tensa provides a range of active heave compensated winches designed by ntd Offshore in Denmark.

By adopting systems that have been fully debugged and proven in the field for over 10 years we are now able to make AHC affordable and deliverable in reasonable time frames without compromising product and service quality.

The electric winches are suitable for loads up to 15t.

The hydraulic winches cover a range up to 100t capacity.

AHC – HY Series Hydraulic Winch

The AHC-HY series winch can be used with wire rope or umbilical. It has a hollow shaft and the capability to accommodate slip rings. This allows the operator to mobilize the AHC winch to any vessel for different applications (e.g. construction or ROV). The intelligent level wind can accommodate different wire or umbilical sizes. The HPU can be combined with the winch or supplied separately.

AHC – EL Series Electric Winch

The AHC-EL winch series are driven by a high efficiency AC motor with VSD controlled technology. The winches can be used with wire rope or umbilical.
