GRIPPER TYPE CONDUCTOR CLAMP
The Tensa Gripper type conductor clamps are used for supporting the jackup rig drilling conductor on the Tensa conductor tensioning system. The clamps are made in all sizes from 9 5/8” to 36”.
POLY GRIP – NON-MARKING PIPE CLAMPS
The Polygrip clamps are designed to grip HDPE or FBE coated pipes without damaging the protective coating. The TENSA Polygrip clamp design has been proven to grip HDPE coated conductors or pipes effectively with safe working loads of 100 tonnes whilst leaving minimal surface marking.
PIPE IN PIPE CLAMPS
Pipe in Pipe clamps are used in dual wall “pipe in pipe” pipeline applications where the inner pipe needs to be clamped to the outer pipe during welding operations. These clamps have worked effectively with safe working loads up to 200 tonnes.
REMOTELY ACTIVATED PILE AND CONDUCTOR GRIPPERS
This device is an external gripper similar to our conductor clamp but utilizes a remotely actuated bolt tensioner to open and close the clamp. We can also provide a hydraulically operated slip type gripper for applications where the external diameter permits the clamp to be slid over the conductor.
SUBSEA ROV ACTUATED PADEYE CONNECTOR
The connector is an alternative to using an ROV shackle. It does offer the benefit of mating with the padeye and aligning the hole with minimal ROV input. Pin insertion or retraction is mechanically operated by the ROV and uses a threaded rod. Visual indicators are provided to ensure that the pin has been fully inserted. The ROV can provide rotation using a standard manipulator or rotation can be provided by a torque tool for faster operation. Any capacity of up to 150t is available. Above 150t we recommend hydraulic actuation.
We can also provide custom products to facilitate the fast and efficient handling of components such as marine risers. These are in some cases based on the original manufacturers concept but can incorporate additional features to improve durability, functionality or safety. In most cases we can provide items at a lower cost and in a shorter time frame than the original manufactures spare parts.
